Bridgewater worked on the restoration of the iconic Hotel Georgia in downtown Vancouver. The company received the Trade Contractor Chairman’s Silver Award for the restoration of the tile and stone. The project consisted of extensive stone work throughout the hotel common areas and all suites, as well as the indoor pool and spa amenities adjoining the Georgia Residences. The stone selection was a fragile, dark Italian stone; Bridgewater worked with the Italian manufacturer to have it veneered to porcelain for added strength, accomplishing the designer and owner’s vision while supporting a clean installation and long-term durability.
