The Ride To Conquer
Since 2016, John Vani has been an enthusiastic supporter of this adventurous event, either as a rider or fund raiser. In 2012, and with Bridgewater matching all donations, John had the honour of being the Individual with the largest amount of donations at a whopping $40,000. Whether it be through cycling or cheering for other riders, participating in this event allows the Vani family to honour their loved ones who have fought battles with Cancer.
Team Jack of Hearts JDRF
The Vani’s Godson, Jack Stuart, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 15 years ago at age 5. Since then he and his family have been deeply involved with Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF) and diligent in raising funds for finding a cure. In 2007 “Team Jack of Hearts” was created and participated in a National Fund Raising Walk held every June. This year Team Jack of Hearts celebrated their 13th Annual walk and have raised over $500,000! Bridgewater Tile and The Vani’s are committed to supporting this very meaningful cause. Due to Covid-19, this years walk was virtual but it didn’t stop the Vani’s from participating. Check out Team Jack of Hearts virtual walk video!
Harmony Arts Festival
In honour of giving back to the community in which we lived and continue to work, we are pleased to support a local Summer event, The Harmony Arts Festival. This week-long event celebrates the arts thru multiple events and venues, such as concerts, plays, displays and readings. We owe a part of our success to a large number of Developers and Custom Home Builders in West Vancouver that faithfully use Bridgewater for all of their projects. We are the proud sponsor of “Readings in the Park” during the festival.
We value creativity and community and this 10 day event supports the arts industry in West Vancouver in a way that brings neighbors and friends together.
