The Ride To Conquer
Since 2012, John Vani has been an enthusiastic supporter of this adventurous event as both a participant and fundraiser. In 2012, John gathered the largest amount of donations for the year. With Bridgewater matching all donations, $40,000 was donated to the cause. Whether it be through cycling or cheering along, participating in this event has been a wonderful experience that allows the Vani family and Bridgewater Tile to honour their loved ones who have battled against cancer. If you would like to join Bridgewater in raising awareness, you can join the fight here.
Team Jack of Hearts JDRF
The Vani family’s godson, Jack Stuart, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of five. Since then, he and his family have been deeply involved with Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF) and diligent in raising funds for finding a cure. In 2007, “Team Jack of Hearts” was created and participated in a national fundraising walk, held every June. This year Team Jack of Hearts celebrated their 13th annual walk and have raised over $500,000! Bridgewater Tile and The Vani’s are committed to supporting this very meaningful cause. Due to Covid-19, this years walk was virtual, but didn’t stop the Vani’s from participating. Check out Team Jack of Hearts virtual walk video!
Harmony Arts Festival
In honour of giving back to the community in which we have lived and worked, we are pleased to support a local summer event, The Harmony Arts Festival. This week-long event celebrates the arts through multiple events and venues, such as concerts, plays, displays and live readings. We owe a part of our success to the large number of developers and custom home builders in West Vancouver that faithfully use Bridgewater for all of their projects. We are a proud sponsor of the “Readings in the Park” event during the festival.
We value creativity and community, and The Harmony Arts festival supports the arts industry in West Vancouver in a way that brings neighbours and friends together.
